CKDC Web Design Case Study

The Central Kentucky Diversity Consortium provides a platform for professional relationship building, cultural expression & education, and the opportunity to engage in candid dialogs. After several years of live events, it was time to expand this movement to the web!

Event/Membership Landing Page for the Central Kentucky Diversity Consortium

The goal was to build an online hub for CKDC news, events and ticket sales, memberships and more. Our secondary goal was to have the web project finished in time to promote and sell tickets for their yearly MOSAIIC event (Multicultural Opportunities, Strategies, and Institutional Inclusiveness Conference).

The Strategy

The primary goal was to build an online hub for CKDC news, events and ticket sales, memberships and more. Our secondary goal was to have the web project finished in time to promote and sell tickets for their yearly MOSAIIC event (Multicultural Opportunities, Strategies, and Institutional Inclusiveness Conference).

We planned on executing this by designing an effective landing that would be developed using Webflow. Our idea was to build one micro-site around the CKDC community and the MOSAIIC event that could evolve into a larger online hub.

Goals of our design:

  • Promote the MOSAIIC event
  • Explain the mission of the CKDC
  • Provide students with a schedule of the event
  • Provide students with the ability to preorder event tickets

Proven Results

We were able to design a dynamic website that would function as the event page for the MOSAIIC event, as well as serve as the membership portal for members of the CKDC community. This would allow their users to stay up-to-date on membership status, upcoming events, and community news.
